Artscape's publishing venture began in 2008 with two new softcover books. The first, Dancing with the Devil by artist Daniel Perry, comprises reproductions of the remarkable body of work he produced over two years chronicling how his perception of reality was changed by the onset of five psychotic stages between 1998 and 2002. The second publication, Truth Tides, documents a collaborative visual study of truth and deception which was first shown at the OVADA gallery in Oxford during the summer of 2006. Allie Butler worked with five individuals who had all experienced mental health issues to produce a lyrical and complex installation which echoed the reationship betwen the internal and external structures of life.
